Reading challenges update

As some of you may remember, I’ve signed up for five reading challenges this year: War Through the Generations, 9 Books for 2009, the Essay Challenge, the LibraryThing Author Challenge and the New Author Challenge. I thought it was about time I updated you on my progress so far. (Note that numbered books are reviewed; clicking on those links will take you to my review.)

In total, I signed up to read 55 books, of which I’ve read 24 (with 5 books that count twice) and reviewed 9 (with 3 books that count twice). So I’m on track for reading the books, but not so much for reviewing them!

    Thanks, Carrie! It doesn't feel like I'm halfway through though because I haven't reviewed two out of the three books yet...

    Nymeth, I was afraid to write up this post too (and then I kept having to correct it because I'd screwed up the numbers), but I was actually pleasantly surprised at how many books I'd read. And also a little shocked that I need to read so many books for these challenges, considering that I only read 61 books last year!

    Lenore, I don't tag them, but I do indicate at the end of each review which challenge I've read the book for, so that helped!
