I also recently found two more lookalikes for this duo (Limbo: A Memoir by A. Manette Ansay and A Good Woman by Lisa Appignanesi were featured in my “Headless Woman in a Black Dress” post last year): The Last of Summer by Kate O’Brien and Exotic Dancers by Gerald Lynch.

I love these posts. They make me realize I don't have a good eye.
ReplyDeleteWow! Four of the same! How an earth do you manage to find all these?
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Tiina
Wow is right! These covers are so similar, too similar, to each other!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I never realize they have similar covers. I love these posts.
ReplyDeleteWow, these duplicate/similar covers are always amazing to me. I've yet to find any of my own!
ReplyDeleteHi--I'm Laura Brodie, author of The Widow's Season, and it's so disappointing to see these duplicate covers! Here I thought that the art department at Berkley had come up with something original just to match the mood of my story...Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYou have a good eye for these... I never catch them.
ReplyDeleteLoved The Widow's Season btw. I may have caught that cover if I saw the other book.
I also had the first two noted! It's not often that I find exact lookalikes (I don't have your eye ;-) )but I discovered these after reading The Widow's Season (loved it!)
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, those four books with the same cover? That's a bit much! If I looked quickly, I would think those were all by the same author.
