Similar Covers: Feet

After four posts of covers featuring hands, I figured it was time for feet! These two, Trans-Sister Radio by Chris Bohjalian and The Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood, are not exactly the same but are pretty similar. I definitely like the cover for Trans-Sister Radio much better though (but maybe it’s just that the quality of the second image is really crappy).

  1. They sure wouldn't want my feet for a book cover!

  2. LOL...This was the only Bohjalian book, I did not care for.

  3. Read The Edible Woman years ago. Can't say it's my favourite Atwood book. I can't say I'm attracted to book covers with feet on them either!

  4. I like the first cover a lot better than the other. I made the mistake of reading The Edible Woman many years ago. I'd just met Atwood at a writer's conference. Boy, what an awful story that was for me. No cover will help that one.

  5. Yeah, the Trans-sister Radio cover is better, and the title has me wondering what it's about.

  6. I love your similar cover posts, keep them up! I agree the first one is better, probably because of the quality.

  7. I couldn't figure out was between the toes of the first one ... then saw it was a flower.

  8. This is a fun series. I've read the Trans-sister Radio book (it's about a man who becomes a woman).

  9. Kathy, LOL!

Diane and Staci, I've actually never read any of his books, although I've heard good things about them.

Donna and Sandra, I also read The Edible Woman years ago. I remember enjoying it, although I wouldn't say it was a favourite Atwood book. But I don't remember it very well!

Alyce, I also wondered what the title was about!

Callista, thanks for commenting. I wish I could have found a better quality image for the second book, but no such luck.

Jenners, I've been trying to figure out what's up with the feet on the second cover. Do you think she's wearing socks?

Thanks, Beth, for letting us know what Trans-Sister Radio is about. (I suppose I could have just looked it up...) And thanks for commenting!
