I first saw The Tricking of Freya by Christina Sunley mentioned on The Book Lady’s Blog, but I must admit I skimmed Rebecca’s lengthy review for fear of reading too much about it. I did read Marie’s review on her blog, The Boston Bibliophile, and between the two of them I’m now convinced I must read this book. Marie starts her review by saying: “Sunley’s accomplished debut is an addictive mixture of coming-of-age, family secrets and glimpse into the culture and history of Iceland.” Sounds good to me!
