Mailbox Monday (March 23)

This was a much better week for scoring books that the past three! First off, I received Places I Never Meant to Be: Original Stories by Censored Writers edited by Judy Blume, which I won from Aerin at In Search of Giants. Then I got together with my local blogger group yesterday (Cindy of Cindy’s Love of Books, Donna of BookBound and Tina of Bookshipper) and received the following books:

The Next Big Thing by Johanna Edwards
Letters Between Us by Linda Rader Overman
Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald
No Great Mischief by Alister MacLeod
The Boys in the Trees by Mary Swan

What did you find in your mailbox this past week? For other Mailbox Monday posts, head over to Marcia’s blog, The Printed Page.

  13. Hey Avis,

You're not really going to read _Fall on your knees_ are you? Far be it from me to disrecommend a book, but this would be one of them.

  15. Thanks, Serena!

Kathy, that's definitely my favourite cover of the bunch!

    Mary, yeah, I'm pretty lucky!

    I did, didn't I, Kaye!

Lauren, I've been seeing good reviews of that book, I hope you enjoy it!

Ti, maybe! I love that cover too.

    Thanks again, Cindy!

Nicole, we found each other through LibraryThing... Maybe there are LTer bloggers in your neck of the woods too?

Once a month, Wendi. And it is lots of fun! (Plus I always wind up bringing home more books than I'm getting rid of...)

Myckyee, you can certainly have it once I'm done. Not sure I'm going to read Fall Down on Your Knees in the end...

Jen, yeah, I didn't know about this book until I won it from Aerin. It sounds really interesting!

Thank you so much, Sheri! I will post about it soon!

Brogan, I had forgotten that you disrecommended this book too! I'm thinking not, now...

    Thanks, Dawn!

  16. You did make out this past week! I came home from work today and found quite a few books waiting for me--it was a pleasant surprise.

I really enjoyed The Way the Crow Flies by Ann-Marie MacDonald and have been wanting to read Fall on Your Knees. I look forward to reading what you think of it when you get to it.

  17. Wendy, it's always fun to get books in the mail, isn't it! I'm not sure I'm going to read Fall on Your Knees in the end. Maybe I should start with As the Crow Flies instead...
