Should Be Reading hosts the Teaser Tuesdays weekly event.
My modified rules are as follows:
Grab your current read. Pick two or three “teaser” sentences more or less at random from the book, anywhere on the page. You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your teaser from… that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given! (Please avoid spoilers!) (Read the official Teaser Tuesday rules.)
My teaser:

This is from Sing Them Home by Stephanie Kallos.
It has been on my radar for sometime.
ReplyDeleteRead my post!
Great teaser Avis! My co-worker has told me a little bit about this book and sure does sound good. Mine is posted here.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting teaser - makes me really curious about the book!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Teaser! I'm also giving away 15 galley copies of this book via the publisher, so stop by and see if you want to enter! :) ~ Wendi
Not heard of this but it sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteGood one! I've been coveting this book for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I've wished for this on Paperback Swap and now I'm going to double-check because that was a great teaser!
ReplyDeleteSing me Out is also a song by Kate Campbell on her Visions of Plenty CD.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song; i want it sung at my wake.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments! The prologue of this book is amazing (which is all I've managed to read so far!).
ReplyDeleteWell I'll admit I'm curious!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I've stalled on this book -- it feels like it might be a bit heavy for my mood right now. But I'll definitely give it another go soon!
