Disobedience by Jane Hamilton was published in 2001 by Anchor (a Random House imprint); Every Secret Thing by Ann Tatlock came out in 2007 with Bethany House and Und tot bist du (the German translation of My Gal Sunday) by Mary Higgins Clark was published by Heyne in 1999.
I think my favourite of the three is Every Secret Thing (I like the addition of the person in the doorway, though the box under the author’s name doesn’t work for me), but I can’t say I’m particularly drawn to any of these covers.

I think they're all kind of blah. Why can't they be a little more original?
ReplyDeleteThere's something weird about both doorways that don't have a person in them--they glow as though they've been whited-out, rather than the person being added to the middle picture.
ReplyDeleteThese definitely aren't books that I would pick up because of the cover!
ReplyDeleteThey are so much alike!!!
ReplyDeleteNot crazy about these book covers. But at least, they don't all look so identical as some of the other similar book covers you featured.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like this cover but I too think the middle one is the best. I've read Disobedience but its cover is the one I like the least.
ReplyDeleteoh this is really good. I love the picture most and the hues too. Love the one in the middle with the woman in the background - just a speck but very visible anyway. Good catch.
ReplyDeleteI think Every Secret Thing grabs me the most too.
