Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books they received during the previous week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists! Mailbox Monday, which was started by Marcia at The Printed Page, is on blog tour—this month, it’s hosted by Rose City Reader.
I received one book in the mail this week: Lonely: Learning to Live with Solitude by Emily White from Harper Perennial for a TLC Book Tour in February.
What did you find in your mailbox this past week? For other Mailbox Monday posts, head over to Rose City Reader.
I'm curious to see what you think of this book. There are so many lonely people out there, and some are house-bound and can't change their situation.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... normally I do not like books like this but this one sounds kind of interesting. I look forward to your review.
ReplyDeleteHow appropriate that this book arrived by itself. It sounds like an interesting read.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds interesting. I look forward to your thoughts on it.
ReplyDeleteOhhh that cover is interesting... especially in light of the fact that they've been finding birds EVERYWHERE dead. Hmmmm even in Quebec near that farm... makes you wonder...
ReplyDeleteI think that would be a good book for me to read. Being a new empty nester it is sometimes hard to adapt to the quiet.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read your TLC tour thoughts on this one!! Enjoy :D
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a good read!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this would be a good book for me. I sometimes relish solitude! Sounds like it would be interesting though. I hope you like it.

ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see what you think of this - I wonder if it would be something that would help my mom.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the book I heard about on another blog last week. I've added it to my TBR list. It sounds like a good read. Enjoy!
