As a bonus, here are a DVD cover and two movie posters* that use similar images:

- Unthinkable directed by Gregor Jordan
I can’t say that any of these covers grab me. What about you? Do you know of any others to add to my collection?
*I got the two movie posters from a YouTube video featuring lookalike movie posters.
So many similar covers! I am not familiar with any of these books.
ReplyDeleteI actually like them. I think my favorite is Fugitive Pieces.
ReplyDeleteI can't choose based on covers but I loved SOMEONE TO RUN WITH. David Grossman is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo interesting that covers with both men and women so often omit the faces - perhaps so more people can identify with them? Of course, a guy would need to have lost his hair for identification with all of these...
ReplyDeleteSomeone to Run With actually has a girl on the cover. It's just a girl with shaved head. Which, unlike most of generic covers above, actually fits the book perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLook at all those bald heads!!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw one of these style covers last week.

The shaved heads aren't doing anything for me.
I've seen several of of the books but of course never made the connection. I love these posts!
ReplyDeleteThe covers astound me for their similarities... congrats on your poster wins :)
