I love the way the rope on the cover of Limitations runs into the one on the cover of Alex Cross’s Trial,* which reminds me of this challenge issued by Jacket Whys. Have you spotted any other covers that match these?

I haven't noticed any similar covers, but I like all of them - I think everyone feels like their life is like that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteKathy, maybe that's why these covers appeal to me right now! I actually feel more like I'm juggling too many balls at once and any minute now they're going to come crashing down on my head...
ReplyDeleteI'm totally over James Patterson's writing, but I think that's the coolest looking fraying rope. That is kind of funny how the ropes in the two of them match up with each other - even with the little white border. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAs always, these are so interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the common "thread" between all of these!! LOL..I'm a lame joke person huh??? Love the new look on the blog!!
ReplyDeleteYep, I know that frayed around the edges feeling ;-) Great post, Avis!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any similar covers but I don't read a lot of thrillers. It always fascinates me to see how authors and publishers use cover art to market their books. :-)
ReplyDeleteno, but i have noticed that when searching
ReplyDeletefor a new book, if i really love a cover, then
50% of the time, i will also like the book.
i am judging the book by its cover!
