Mailbox Monday (December 8)
I had nothing to report again last Monday, but this past week I received three books in the mail. The first was Lost and Found by Carolyn Parkhurst, which I won from Bethany at B&b ex libris. Thanks, Bethany, and thank you to Hachette for sending me the book.
Later on in the week, I received a mysterious package from Amazon. Mysterious because I hadn’t ordered anything from them, but I thought maybe someone was sending me a book to review via Amazon... Turns out it was a gift from my sister, a very exciting-looking graphic-novel-that-is-not-a-novel slash creative inspiration book called What It Is by Lynda Barry. Thank you, sis, for that lovely surprise!
Finally, this morning I received Pathologies: A Life in Essays by Susan Olding from Freehand Books. I’m very excited about this book too! Thank you!
What did you find in your mailbox this past week? For other Mailbox Monday posts, head over to Marcia’s blog, The Printed Page.

ReplyDeleteI won Lost and Found too. It should be coming this week I would think.
ReplyDeleteKathy, thanks for pointing out that I'd used the wrong image for Lost and Found! I fixed it.
ReplyDeleteMarie, I'm so excited about that book. I'm hoping it will inspire me to be more creative.
Serena, I'm looking forward to reading Lost and Found -- I love books about secrets...
Alea, I'd never heard of this book or this author before, but yeah, it looks super cool!
Shana, I started to address this comment to "sgs" when I realized it was you! I do have a sweet sister, she gives me the best gifts! (I actually have two sweet sisters!)
Thank you, Leon! I'm glad you're enjoying my blog. I've fallen off the blog wagon a bit this month, but I should be back in full swing in the new year.
Dar, we'll have to compare notes when we (eventually) read it!
Lost and Found looks like a good book...I'm envious! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo-Jo!
