Mailbox Monday (October 27)

I only received one book this week, The Darcys and the Bingleys: Pride and Prejudice Continues by Marsha Altman, which came to me directly from the author (thank you, Marsha!).

However, this was a great week for acquiring books, as I mentioned in my post about Book Fair Week. (I’ve updated the list of books, as promised.)

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.

  2. It does, doesn't it? I haven't read any P&P sequels yet, although I have another one sitting on my shelf too...

  3. Oh - lucky you!! I've just started getting my hands on some of the Jane Austen sequels, and I'm really enjoying them! Can't wait to hear how you like it.

  6. Thank you for stopping by the 'mailbox' this week. Ms. Altman contacted me and offered a signed copy as a giveaway at Up For Grabs soon.

  7. Thanks for dropping by, Wendi; I checked out your Mailbox Monday too.

I take it that means you've read a bunch of them, Serena? The only other one I have is written by Emma Tennant, I think (but I can't remember what it's called). Seems like there are lots of P&P sequels out there, anyway!

Joanne, does that mean you've read this one?

    Thanks for the heads-up, Marcia!

  8. I've only received one book this week, so don't feel bad. ;)

This sounds like a great book, and I can't wait for your review!

  9. Thanks, Anna! No books this past week at all, but considering how behind I am on reviews (and responding to comments!), I guess that's a good thing!
