What great books have you added to your wish list this week? Share your Friday Finds at Should Be Reading.
The Pools by Bethan Roberts was reviewed by Shana at Literarily (sadly now defunct).
Bree at The Things We Read posted a great review of Time of My Life by Allison Winn Scotch. I love reviews that ask questions. And I’m a fan of the word discombobulated too!
I love books told from multiple points of view, so I’m intrigued by Melissa’s review of The Space Between Before and After by Jean Reynolds Page on her blog Shhh I’m Reading.
Michele at A Reader’s Respite raves about Requiem for the Author of Frankenstein by Molly Dwyer in her review, calling it “one of those books.” Plus she interviewed the author and is giving away a copy of the book. (Not that I want you to enter her giveaway since I have plans to win the book for myself!)
Avis, everything on your list looks good this week!
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, The Pools *is* good.
It's the only one I've read, but Michele's review of the historical fiction about Mary Shelley tempted me enough to add it to my own FF post today.
Thank you, Avis, for featuring "Requiem." I really did love this book, but it was hard to review. I'm afraid I really didn't do it justice. It's one of those books that might have gone unnoticed because it's independently published. But that's why I scour all of the Friday Finds -- you all find such great books for me to read!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mention and I will be checking out your other finds too!
ReplyDeleteShana, I confess it was your post that reminded me to mention Michele's review in mine...
ReplyDeleteMichele, I almost forgot to enter your giveaway and here I'm saying I must win it!
Melissa, you're welcome! Thanks for stopping by.
