Friday Finds (September 12)

Friday Finds is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

I first read a review of The Smart One and the Pretty One by Claire LaZebnik at Literarily (now sadly defunct). Shana compares it favourably to In Her Shoes, a book I also loved, which piqued my interest. Then I came across Tina’s review and author interview at Bookshipper and I was sold!

Katherine at A Girl Walks Into a Bookstore is responsible for yet another book making its way onto my wish list: Company of Liars by Karen Maitland. Read Katherine’s review.

Finally, I also want to read Broken by Daniel Clay thanks to Dar’s review at Peeking Between the Pages.

  3. Avis, now I MUST read Company of Liars. Since reading Pillars of the Earth and World Without End, that time period really fascinates me!

  6. Unfortunately, I didn't win a copy of Broken! Ah well, another one for the wish list. I'm still hoping I might win a copy of The Smart One and the Pretty One, which Shana at Literarily is giving away this week!
