I do think the one for "The Sweetest Dream" is used the best -- I didn't realize it was the same photo at first for the Feminism book because it gets lost. They're a little bit in the Sandman style, except the art and storylines are simpler. Books 1 through 11 are one story arc and 1001 Nights of Snowfall is separate and gives the backstory to some of the characters (read 1001 after you've read a few of the regular ones!). Number 12 was just published and it's starting a new story arc.

Yeah, the tags.... I've realized that they don't even help me anymore, so an overhaul is actually scheduled. :)

The style samples for the graphic novels are just scans from the books, nothing fancier than that. I love graphic novels, but I always want to see the drawing style (it has to add something to the story), and I assumed others wanted to see it too, so I started adding them.Eva @ One Swede Readhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07053476662764861384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2861558236080696007.post-5856257649347579362009-09-01T20:27:16.709-04:002009-09-01T20:27:16.709-04:00Need another pair??

There must be marketing studies for publishing companies on this kind of stuff. (Must be -- ha! I'd go for 100 percent on that!)

I had no idea Mary Gordon had a new book out. I'll have to give that a look at the library. I don't know much about the other authors. I just picked up the latest Joy Fielding and Faye Kellerman books at the library last night, though have yet to start either. I'm currently deeply into a fascinating memoir set in WWII, "Abandoned and Forgotten" the story of the author's being orphaned during WWII and her tale of survival. I had no idea that Germans were forced from their homes (you think you know the basics of history, then you find out you don't). It's a very interesting look at Hitler's regime from the point of view of the civilians forced to live under it. And -- she survives! That's a hopeful thing.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12553309379795237911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2861558236080696007.post-5319095654550147642009-08-27T17:28:25.536-04:002009-08-27T17:28:25.536-04:00This is a little ridiculous.
