I like the 3rd or 5th one, but I still wouldn't pick any of these up.
ReplyDeleteNone of them is very original.
ReplyDeleteThey are depressingly boring!
ReplyDeleteNot thrilled with these covers but bottom middle (sim to top left) would be my pick.
ReplyDeleteYea, none of these really work for me. It does make me wonder if the woman gets paid for each time her legs are used? hehe
ReplyDeleteThese covers don't do much for me. It's hard to believe better covers couldn't be found for 6 books! I guess the bottom middle or top right covers I like best!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so similar. You'd think you could crop it a few different ways.
ReplyDeleteThe only one that really catches my eye is the one on the top right. The colors seem richer, somehow. The rest? Meh.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth do you find all these similar or same covers? Find a cover which attracts you and then ask Google to find similar ones? But there seem so many which look remarkably alike! I have spotted some over the years, but never this many.
ReplyDeleteMargaret P
I like red, and red shoes, but there is nothing appealing about those covers.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed this one around a lot, too, and every time I'm not sure whether I'm seeing the same book again or a new one. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember if you've already mentioned it, but Confessions Of A First Daughter by Cassidy Calloway also has a very comment cover that I have seen on at least three books (and a little similar to this one).
Wow, 6 books using the same cover photo! I like the 5th one best, but none of them would really catch my eye in a bookstore.
ReplyDeleteAs the publishing industry changes, publishers are looking more and more to stock photos (probably with no royalties attached) for their covers. That's how that happens. The photo company doesn't care how many publishers buy the photo. It's all very sad and upsetting to us mid-list writers :(
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen my cover anywhere, though. Yet. (I'm also with Random House)
